About this document
Characterizing Nuclear and Mitochondrial DNA in Spent Embryo Culture Media Genetic Contamination Identified by phambichvan399 is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study aimed to characterize nuclear and mitochondrial DNA in spent embryo culture media to assess its potential for noninvasive genetic evaluation. Results showed increased levels of nuclear and mtDNA in media exposed to embryos, but contamination from maternal cells was identified, preventing reliable genetic assessment. Consequently, the study concluded that DNA from culture media cannot currently be used for genetic assessment due to mixed origins of the detected DNA.
