What is Emotional Intelligence & Innovative Work Behavior about?

This study investigates the relationship between emotional intelligence (EQ) and innovative work behavior (IWB) among employees in medium-sized food and beverage enterprises in Malaysia. The research finds that EQ accounts for 25.7% of the variance in IWB, with self-management being the most influential dimension. The results suggest that hiring practices should incorporate EQ assessments to enhance innovative capabilities within organizations.
