This document summarizes a study on drying beetroot using microwave assisted fluidized bed drying (MAFBD) and compares it to fluidized bed drying (FBD). Beetroot samples were dried at different air temperatures (60°C, 67.5°C, 75°C) and velocities (9 m/s, 10.5 m/s, 12 m/s) using both methods.
