ABSTRACT Ukraine needs to restore its grain exports. More robust logistics may be constructed by identification of the stages of the supply chain and their improvement by individual components ( e.g ., granaries in Ukraine, rail transport from these facilities to the border, and on to grain export terminals in EU seaports); and by expansion of the circle of stakeholders and synchronisation of information between them. An inclusive approach – increasing the level of participation of all stakeholders in the process and benefits of economic development – is aimed at diversifying supply chains and minimising capacity reduction without significant capital investment.
