What is AGA about?

This systematic review and meta-analysis examined the association of androgenetic alopecia (AGA) with health-related quality of life (HRQOL) and psychiatric disorders across 41 studies involving 7995 patients. The findings indicated a significant association between AGA and moderate impairment of HRQOL and emotions, but no correlation with depressive symptoms was found. The results suggest that patients with AGA may benefit from psychological and psychosocial support.
