Trident Seafoods expanded the docking capacity of its seafood plant on Akutan Island, Alaska by constructing a new 305m long sheet pile quay wall. To support the wall, DYWIDAG Systems International USA supplied 170 57mm and 11 43mm double corrosion protection tie rods ranging from 13-40m in length. The tie rods were used to tie back the sheet pile wall into the load-bearing soil and included accessories for installation.
