1) A simple and accurate RP-HPLC method was developed and validated for the simultaneous quantification of minoxidil and finasteride from bulk and liquid formulations. 2) Chromatographic separation was achieved using a C18 column with a mobile phase of phosphate buffer, acetonitrile and methanol, detecting both drugs at 211nm. 3) The method was linear over a concentration range of 50-250 μg/ml for minoxidil and 1-5 μg/ml for finasteride.
