What is Robyn Rowland about?

This poem describes a scene on a beach in Turkey. It observes a newlywed couple enjoying themselves as well as two friends searching for seashells and fossils. The narrator finds unique shells. Looming in the distance is a giant beached ship called "Mercy God". The ship was abandoned after running aground the previous winter. Its rotten onion cargo had attracted scavengers.
