About this document
Light Velocity in Various Media by WAN AHMAD AFIQ WAN HUZAIRUL AZRIL is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The document describes an experiment to measure the velocity of light in air, water, and acrylic glass. In part 1, the velocity of light in air was measured to be (2.87 ± 0.01) × 108 m/s, with a percentage error of 4.01% compared to the accepted theory. In part 2, the velocity of light in water was measured to be lower than in air, from which the refractive index of water was calculated to be 1.38 ± 0.09. Part 3 would have measured and calculated the refractive index of acrylic glass in the same manner.
