In The Ten Years Since The First Publication Of This Book A Wealth Of Beatrix Potter Memorabilia, Including Letters, Photographs And A Diary Fragment, Has Been Unearthed From Attics And Safes And Has Passed Through The Sale Rooms. The Publication In 1989 Of Beatrix Potter's Letters, My Selection Of Some 400 Of Her Letters From A Collection Of Over 1,400, Brought To Light Yet More Correspondence, As Did The Publication In 1992 Of Letters To Children From Beatrix Potter.
