What is Tulasi Leaf Gel Sanitizer Stability Test about?

This paper compares the stability of hand sanitizers made from Tulasi (Ocimum tenuiflorum L.) leaves using 0.5% and 1% concentrations of carboxymethyl cellulose sodium (CMC-Na) as a gelling agent. The authors conducted tests over 4 weeks to examine the appearance, homogeneity, pH, dispersibility, and adhesion of the two formulations. Their results showed that the hand sanitizer gel made with 1% CMC-Na concentration was more stable than the formulation with 0.5% CMC-Na concentration.
