Can I read Evaluation and Modeling of Processability of Laser Removal Technique for Bamboo Outer Layer on EtoBox?

Evaluation and Modeling of Processability of Laser Removal Technique for Bamboo Outer Layer by Rongrong Li; Chujun He; Xiaodong Wang is a Engineering article available to read on EtoBox.

What is Evaluation and Modeling of Processability of Laser Removal Technique for Bamboo Outer Layer about?

CO 2 laser removal technique, as a novel and clean processing technology, was applied for the removal of bamboo outer layer, and the influences of laser parameters on bamboo surface properties were investigated. The results demonstrated that laser power had the most significant impact on the removal depth and surface morphology. The removal depth, arithmetic mean deviation (Ra), and maximum height of the assessed profile (Rz) increased with the increase in laser power, while they decreased as the feed speed and sweep width increased. The total color difference increased from 14.57 to 31.55 with increasing the laser power from 35 W to 45 W. ANOVA results showed that the quadratic models performed well because of the probability value was less than 0.0500 and a higher value of the determination coefficient. In the same way, all the selected laser removal parameters were also significant model terms for variations of the response parameters.
