What is Environmental Policy Law, 6th (University Casebook Series) about?
This casebook is intended for an introductory course in environmental or natural resources law. Coverage encompasses the regulation of private and public land use and the protection of wildlife, as well as pollution control and remediation, highlighting the similarities between pollution law and the regulation of natural resources and the role of state and local law as well as federal law. Part 1 covers basic concepts with chapters on environmental policy perspectives, environmental common law, the administration environmental law, and environmental federalism. Part 2, on natural resources, focuses on the role of the NEPA, while subsequent sections treat toxics and waste, pollution control, and international environmental law. Chapter problems provide a focus for class discussion. Doremus teaches law at the University of California-Berkeley.
