What is Pala Buddhism and Ahom Kingdom Overview about?
The Pala dynasty ruled over parts of northern India and Bangladesh from the 8th to 12th centuries CE. During this period, Buddhism flourished and Pala kings sent missionaries to establish Buddhism in Tibet. Many sculptures and artifacts from the Pala period have been found at important Buddhist sites like the Mahabodhi Temple in Bodhgaya, reflecting the prominence of Buddhism under the Palas. However, with the fall of the Pala dynasty in the 12th century, Indian Buddhism went into decline.
