What is IgG to IgM Ratio in Dengue Diagnosis about?

This study aimed to determine the diagnostic value of the IgG to IgM ratio in differentiating between primary and secondary dengue infection. The study found that an IgG to IgM ratio cutoff value of >1.1 had a sensitivity of 87.5%, specificity of 92.9%, and positive predictive value of 97.7% for predicting secondary infection. Using this cutoff, the IgG to IgM ratio was found to be a good predictor of secondary dengue infection.
