## Abstract For a bicontractive operator __T__ on a Kreĭ space the connections between its eigenvalues and eigenstructure and the eigenvalues and eigenstructure of its minimal unitary dilation __U__ are studied. For eigenvalues on the unit circle of __T__ in general only part of the eigenspace of __T__ will return its an eigenspace of __U__ and the corresponding eigenvalue will be a singular critical point of __U__.
