Can I read The effects of sodium bisulfite in extraction of PHB by hypochlorite on EtoBox?

The effects of sodium bisulfite in extraction of PHB by hypochlorite by Kang Suk Roh; Sung Ho Yeom; Young Je Yoo is a Biochemistry, Genetics and Molecular Biology article available to read on EtoBox.

What is The effects of sodium bisulfite in extraction of PHB by hypochlorite about?

Molecular weight of PHB becomes low when using a hypochlorite extraction method for PHB separation. This disadvantage was overcome by adding sodium bisulfite which is an anti-oxidant. The molecular weight drop was decreased from 30 % to 14 % by adding sodium bisulfite. It was also found that raising the pH to 12 and the addition of a surfactant resulted in the improvement of the PHB purity.

Who reads The effects of sodium bisulfite in extraction of PHB by hypochlorite?

It is typically read by researchers, students, and practitioners in Biochemistry, Genetics and Molecular Biology.
