This study examined the impact of a hyperosmotic shock induced by photo-polymerization of acrylamide inside giant poly(butadiene)-b-poly(ethylene oxide) (PBut-b-PEO) polymersomes. PBut-b-PEO polymersomes were prepared using emulsion-centrifugation and acrylamide monomer and photoinitiator were encapsulated inside.
