The MJ2955 is a silicon PNP power transistor from INCHANGE Semiconductor with excellent safe operating area characteristics. It has a DC current gain between 20-70 when the collector current is -4A and can withstand a maximum collector-emitter saturation voltage of -1.1V when the collector current is -4A. It is designed for general purpose switching and amplifier applications and complements the 2N3055 transistor type.
