About this document
Green Roofs Impact on Runoff Quality by Arturo Andres Bustios Casanova is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The document analyzes the influence of green roofs on runoff water quality based on a case study from Estonia. Samples were collected from 10 green roofs with different structures (e.g. Light Weight Aggregates-based or sod roofs) and locations from 2004-2009. The results showed that LWA-based green roofs generally had higher pH, BOD7, TP and PO4-P compared to sod roofs, while sod roofs had higher COD, TN, SO4 and Ca-Mg. Fertilized green roofs showed much higher concentrations of various compounds compared t
