Franz Liszt was a renowned Hungarian pianist and composer born in 1811 who displayed incredible musical talent from a young age. He had a successful career as a virtuoso pianist, giving lessons to many famous musicians before retiring to Rome in 1861. Liszt died in 1886 in Bayreuth, Germany at the age of 74 while attending the Bayreuth Festival hosted by his daughter.
