WL Differential Agar is a selective medium used to isolate and enumerate microbial flora in industrial fermentation processes like brewing. It contains dextrose, tryptone, yeast extract, salts, and cycloheximide which inhibits yeast and mold growth while allowing bacterial proliferation.
