What is Enantioselective packed column SFC for the separation of 2‐oxatetracyclo [5.4.0.0^1,8^.0^5,11^] undec‐9‐ene derivatives about?
## Abstract Packed column SFC (pSFC) on a 3,5‐dimethylphenylcarbamate derivative of amylose (Chiralpak AD) has exhibited high enantioselectivity for the separation of 2‐oxatetracyclo [5.4.0.0^1,8^.0^5,11^] undec‐9‐ene derivatives resulting from the UV‐radiation of substituted 4‐phenoxybut‐1‐enes. The speed of analysis compared to normal phase LC and mild conditions compared to capillary GC were valuable characteristics of pSFC for the analysis of these labile products. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
