About this document

Hematologic Disease Biomarker Comparison by sue.jiang0716 is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study compares the diagnostic and prognostic performance of serum amyloid A (SAA), procalcitonin (PCT), delta neutrophil index (DNI), and C-reactive protein (CRP) in patients with hematologic diseases. Results indicate that CRP and SAA have greater discriminative power for diagnosing infections compared to PCT, but only PCT levels were associated with higher 90-day mortality. Further research is needed to validate these findings for clinical application.
