This study investigates the incidence and types of fetal abnormalities identified during routine 36-week ultrasound examinations, finding that 2.5% of fetuses had abnormalities, with 2.1% detected at this scan. Notably, 0.77% of abnormalities were identified for the first time at the 36-week scan, while 0.39% were diagnosed postnatally.
