What is A Glint of Steel and Roses: An MM+ Monster Romance (Flame and Shadow Book 2) about?

Even Terrors tremble when a Nightmare goes to war.For centuries, Ezluari has lived in peace, but I have shattered that peace in the name of vengeance. It’s been a long time coming, but it’s time for Lord Iridyn to face justice for the slow genocide he’s sentenced my people to, and for murdering Prince Ren.First, we must win a battle against the powerful dragon rider, Brenna, and her army of fire wielding demons. If we fail to hold back Brenna’s advance, it won’t just be my people that suffer. I am the warden of an ancient prison, the last defense against the ancient Terrors that once walked the world. If I fall, their bonds will be broken, and they’ll be free to stalk the mortal world, leaving havoc and destruction in their wake. We’re badly outnumbered and exhausted, desperate for any sign victory is possible. Is Nevahn the symbol of hope we so badly need? Or just another distraction when Hellion and I should be focusing on the army at our doorstep?A Glint of Steel and Roses is the continuation of the Flame and Shadow series, a dark fantasy MMX wartime romance that should be read in order.
