The Commission is hosting an event on International Day of People with Disability to promote the rights of people with disabilities through self advocacy and art. Speakers will include Peta Ferguson and Heather Lawson. The Commission will also launch a video about the Equal Opportunity Act performed by Dream Theatre, a group of young media makers with disabilities. The event will take place on December 3rd from 10:30am to 12pm at the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission in Carlton.
