This study aimed to identify whether slower baseline time to stabilization measurements in various jump landing tasks could predict increased risk of anterior cruciate ligament rupture in collegiate athletes. The study found that athletes who sustained noncontact ACL injuries took significantly longer to stabilize during baseline backward jump landing compared to uninjured athletes, and that increased time to stabilization was associated with higher odds of ACL rupture.
