This document describes the synthesis and analgesic activity testing of secondary amine analogues of pyridylmethylamine and positional isomeric analogues of ABT-594. A series of highly sterically hindered secondary amine analogues were synthesized from 6-chloro-3-pyridylaldehyde or 3-pyridylaldehyde through reductive amination.
