About this document

Grading Disparities in EM Clerkship by vunamhoangyk is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study analyzes grading differences in emergency medicine clerkships between students identified as underrepresented in medicine (URiM) and non-URiM at the University of Michigan. Results show that non-URiM students significantly outperformed URiM students on the NBME exam scores and overall clerkship grades, highlighting persistent disparities in medical education. The findings suggest a need for changes in evaluation methods to address equity concerns in clinical assessments.
