What is Minor Contracts in India: Legal Overview about?

Section 11 of the Indian Contract Act states that minors are not competent to enter into contracts. A contract with a minor is void from the beginning (void ab initio) as minors do not have the legal capacity to consent. However, there are some exceptions - when both parties to a contract are minors, it is void ab initio, but when one party is a minor, case laws must be referred. The general rule established by the Privy Council is that a contract with a minor as a party is completely void as minors
