What is Nikos Lyberopoulos Tribute in Wargaming about?

This document introduces the HOPLON wargaming rule system. It was created to improve upon earlier systems like DBM that had become oversimplified and unrealistic in an effort to standardize rules for competitions. HOPLON aims to recreate historical battle tactics more accurately while still being compatible with existing DBM-style armies. It does this by making changes like simultaneous movement and combat instead of the rigid phase system of earlier rules.
