This study evaluates the safety and efficacy of intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) for treating anaplastic ependymoma in patients under 3 years of age. Among 9 patients, the 5-year overall survival rate was 40.6%, with 53.3% freedom from local recurrence, and 26.7% progression-free survival, while neurologic morbidities were primarily linked to tumor mass effects rather than radiation. The findings suggest that IMRT can provide effective local control with manageable side effects in very young patients
