My family, except my father, took a month-long winter vacation to Texas when I was 6 years old. We spent our days sledding down snowy mountains, where my mother got stuck in a snowbank, playing in the snow with cousins on a trampoline, cleaning snow from our entrance and having snowball fights. We also frequently went to parks and played in a canal near our house on some days, though trips to malls and bazaars were boring.
