This study examined the effects of 10 weeks of combined isometric and plyometric ankle training on musculotendinous ankle stiffness and sprint cycling performance in international age-group track cyclists. Fifteen cyclists were split into an experimental group that performed high-volume calf raises and plyometrics in addition to normal training, and a control group that maintained normal training only.
