About this document
Neolithic Animal Economy in Vojvodina by DanaGrujić is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The document analyzes the ratio of domestic to wild animals found at 10 Neolithic archaeological sites in Vojvodina, Serbia. The sites date between 6000-3200 BC and belong to the Körös, Starčevo, and Vinča cultures. The smallest proportion of domestic animals was found at Golokut and Nosa Biserna Obala sites, while the highest was at Prosine-Pećinci, Zlatara-Ruma, and Kudoš-Šašinci. The data shows that animal husbandry was just beginning at Nosa Biserna Obala based on the high proportion of wild animals
