About this document
Photosystems I and II in Photosynthesis by kashleen.28 is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The light-dependent reactions of photosynthesis occur in the thylakoid and involve two photosystems. Photosystem II uses light energy to excite electrons which are transferred through an electron transport chain, producing ATP and NADPH via chemiosmosis. Photosystem I and II differ in their optimal wavelengths of light absorbed and pigment compositions.
