Persian Invasion by Asif Ahmed is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The Persian empire under Cyrus and Darius annexed parts of Punjab and Sindh in northwestern India in the 6th century BC, establishing nearly two centuries of rule. This brought cultural exchange between India and Persia, including the introduction of the Kharoshthi script from Aramaic and influences on the administrative structure and art of the Mauryan empire. Zoroastrian practices from ancient Iran were also adopted at the Mauryan court.
