This document describes a titration method for analyzing the concentration of glutaraldehyde in a 2% Planidex solution. A 5 ml sample is diluted in water and the pH is adjusted to 3.00. Hydroxylamine hydrochloride is added and then titrated with sodium hydroxide solution back to a pH of 3.00. The amount of sodium hydroxide needed indicates the concentration of glutaraldehyde present.
