This thesis evaluates the effects of Cordia africana and Erythrina abyssinica trees on coffee production and selected soil properties in Ethiopia. Data was collected through field surveys and laboratory analysis of soil samples from coffee plots under the two tree species and open plots. Results showed that coffee grown under C. africana had higher yields and soil properties like organic matter, total nitrogen and available phosphorus were better compared to the other treatments.
