What is Backyard Bird Matching Cards Guide about?

This document provides instructions for using backyard bird matching cards as an educational activity for children. It recommends beginning with 2-4 common birds and stating their names clearly. As the child explores the cards, reinforce vocabulary with simple statements about each bird. The cards can then be used to match pictures to toy figures of the same birds to extend learning. Avoid correcting mistakes but rather restate the name of the bird selected and have the child match it to the correct picture
