What is The bears and I : raising three cubs in the north woods about?
The moving story of Robert Leslie, who went prospecting for gold in the Canadian north woods -- and found fatherhood! Adopted by a trio of orphaned bear cubs, Leslie describes their "growing up" together over a period of three years... a continuing adventure with perilous canoe trips and a forest fire. Here is an unforgettable experience in the relationship between man and his fellow creatures. Like "Born Free", it is an important message of hope for preserving the wilderness and all its inhabitants.
