What is SSPX and the Benedictine Monastic Life about?

Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery was founded in 1991 as a home for Benedictine monks following the spirit of contemplation and moderation outlined in the Rule of St. Benedict. The monastery aims to restore the monastic tradition through a life of prayer and work in a secluded mountain setting. Its vision is to establish oases of the Catholic faith through monastic life that continually praises God.
