What is Mismatch about?

This study investigates the predictive value of mismatch repair (MMR) status for response to adjuvant radiotherapy in patients with stage IB/II, grade 3 endometrioid endometrial cancer (EEC). It finds that adjuvant radiotherapy significantly improves disease-specific survival in patients with MMR-deficient EECs, while MMR-proficient patients do not experience similar benefits.
