This study evaluated the effects of oxychlorine solutions containing chlorine dioxide (ClO2) on surgical adhesion formation in rats. The rats underwent abdominal surgery using the Buckenmaier model to induce adhesions and were treated with either oxychlorine solutions containing 40-150 ppm ClO2 or saline solution. Oxychlorine solutions containing 40-110 ppm ClO2 significantly reduced postoperative adhesion formation without affecting wound healing strength. Higher concentrations did not have an effect. The
