Eight linear and seven cyclic nitramines predominantly with methylenenitramine grouping were studied by means of the differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). For eleven of them the characteristics of fusion were specified. Linear relationships were found between the onset or peak temperatures of melting of these compounds and the melting points of their aliphatic structural analogues (i.e. homomorphs).
