The Speedswitch Underspeed Motion Monitor uses inductive sensing to detect metal targets attached to rotating machinery. It monitors shaft speed and provides output signals if the speed falls below 10% or 20% of the calibrated normal speed. It has relay contacts for alarms or shutdown and an opto-isolated output for tachometers or PLCs. The unit is totally sealed to IP67 and has no moving parts for maintenance-free operation.
