What is Walt Disney: Life and Achievements about?

Walt Disney was born in Chicago in 1901 and grew up in Missouri where he developed an early interest in art. After attempting to enlist in the military during WWI, he joined the Red Cross and was sent to France. Upon returning, he started a small animation company called Laugh-O-Grams which failed. In 1923, with $20 in his pocket, Disney went to Hollywood to start a new company. He married Lillian Bounds in 1925 and created Mickey Mouse in 1928, going on to produce many animated classics and founding Disney
