This scoping review investigates the benefits of horseback riding for neurotypical children and adolescents, focusing on language, cognition, social, emotional, and behavioral development. Out of 131 studies initially identified, six met the inclusion criteria, revealing significant improvements in cognitive functions and social competence. The findings suggest that horseback riding can positively impact various developmental aspects in neurotypically developing youth.
