Khmer-language websites are increasing in Cambodia, providing more information to Cambodians in their native language. There are currently about 1,000 Khmer websites, and that number is expected to double by the end of 2013. Khmer websites are becoming more popular as Cambodians want to be informed about news and events in their own language rather than English. However, some experts are concerned about the stability of new Khmer websites as many are starting up in a short period of time.
